JCC provide mobile recycling solution to Stirling Council
JCC were asked to provide a mobile recycling solution to the landfill site at Lower Polmaise Stirling to process and recycle a large proportion of the incoming material.
A new mobile material sorting system was designed, manufactured and installed which complied with EC directive 98/37/EC and British Standard BS7300:1990. The system included a three screen mobile trommel with feed conveyor and a mobile 2 bay picking station.
The trommel screens were set at 40mm to allow for pre screening of the 0-40mm waste before being transferred onto the incline conveyor of the mobile picking station.
The picking station was fitted with double glazed windows and doors and insulated cladding for the comfort and security of the operators, along with a complete emergency stop system.
This mobile heavy duty recycling plant allowed the council to recycle at maximum efficiency while still retaining the mobile ability. |
